Greeters are also available to help you find your child’s classroom. At the time of check in, a loving and trained volunteer leader will greet you. You will be asked to provide us with a cell phone number that you have in your possession. In the event we need to contact you during the service, we will send you a text message. (Remember to leave your cell phone on vibrate/silence during the service.) If your child cries, our caring volunteer leaders will immediately soothe your child. If your child cries for an extended period of ten minutes, we will text you. You and your child will receive a check in tag specifically created for your child. To ensure their security, your child will not be released without presentation of your corresponding tag.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”LENGTH OF SERVICE?” tab_id=”1508183592913-7a67d99e-d646″][vc_column_text]At Saddleback Kids, we provide an age appropriate environment for the entire duration of each of the adult weekend services.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?” tab_id=”1508183630399-9bf51044-0eba”][vc_column_text]Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name before arriving at your child’s class. For the safety of our children, all children ages 2 and older must wear shoes to enter the program. For babies through age 2, we ask that you bring the
following:

  1. Two disposable diapers or pull ups. Please no cloth diapers.
  2. Pacifier, lovey or other comfort item.
  3. A complete change of clothes, including a sweater or jacket in cool weather. We often take our 2 year olds to the outdoor playground.
  4. A bottle or cup of milk, formula, juice or water. (This is a good practice even for mothers who nurse their babies.)

Please inform the leader if your child has an allergy to either of these snacks.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”HOW TO VOLUNTEER IN SADDLEBACK KIDS?” tab_id=”1508183698917-642ee491-911b”][vc_column_text]If you are interested in volunteering in Saddleback Kids, the first step is to attend one of our Saddleback Kids New Leader Orientation classes and to fill out a SK New Volunteer Leader Application. These classes provide a general overview of our Saddleback Kids Ministry. An interview with a SK staff member is also required, which includes training on our safety/security policies, a background check and fingerprinting (for adults). Age-level training will also be provided before each new volunteer is assigned to a permanent classroom. This detailed process ensures that children are placed with the best possible care in a safe, secure and child-friendly environment.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”WELL-CHILD POLICY” tab_id=”1508183724719-cbfcb610-6d7e”][vc_column_text]We operate a well-child environment. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep our Saddleback Kids program a healthy place![/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”PARENT COMMITMENT/ CHILD DEDICATION QUESTIONS” tab_id=”1508183742390-588c4222-3039″][vc_column_text]Parent Commitment/Child Dedication is a service where parents publicly commit to raise their child in a Christian home and guide their child towards a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

At Lake Forest, the service is a completely separate celebration from the weekend worship service and is held on four designated Saturdays yearly from 10:00-11:00 a.m. For more information about dedicating your child at our Lake Forest campus, please call (949) 609-8658.

At all other campuses, the service is part of the weekend worship service. For information about Parent Commitment/Child Dedication services at our regional campuses, please select your campus and contact the SK Children’s Director.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_custom_heading text=”Curriculum” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center” google_fonts=”font_family:Lato%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal” css=”.vc_custom_1507747211559{padding-bottom: 15px !important;}”][vc_tta_accordion active_section=”1″][vc_tta_section title=”WHAT WE DO?” tab_id=”1508183775295-5d134c0b-605b”][vc_column_text]At Saddleback Kids, we write, create and produce weekend curriculum series for children, birth through Grade 6.
